5/18/2023 0 Comments Nbdmifit![]() ![]() I have had an idea which consists of desoldering the EEPROM and program it via an EEPROM Programmer, which I already have, and solder that EEPROM back, so the UUID will be erased to FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFÄ«ut I have seen two EEPROMs in the motherboard, and I don't know which one is the correct, I have attached some pictures of it, so you can see it. I searched the solution and some posts indicate NbDMIFit tool may help. I also have tried the Crisis Recovery of the BIOS using the latest bios bin file in a FAT32 USB Key (The recovery procedure competed successfully, but the Bastards, they have made it to keep all the current info in the bios(UUID, SN, SKU. Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit) My Firebird was upgraded with new SSDs instead of the old HDDs. Click to expand. But this method works only for the FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF UUID, and MPM is locked in my case, so I can't change the UUID to FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF value, and also HP support team will not provide me with the correct SMC.bin for this Notebook's UUID if I am not the owner.
